Question: I have a 1965 Chevelle SS, originally had 327 v8 but now has 454 v8. How do I determine which spring is
correct for this vehicle? There was a 396 put in a little over 100 of these cars( a robot cannot help me)A Shopper / Jan 03, 2021
Hi,
That is a 2 liter capacity difference and weight factor. Actually the 6.5L Chevelle also uses this struts by still Moog. You have to check or consult with a local Chevy dealership since the 454 is much heavier engine already. The spring should be different for the heavier engine.
