Question: Should I replace my camshaft sensor when I change the crankshaft sensor on my 2004 mitsubishi lancer es 2.0. And also one part I had to change I had to get the mitsubishi original vs a replacement.  How likely is it I might have to do it with these sensors?Amanda / Oct 07, 2022
Hi Amanda, I'm glad to assist you. Yes. It is best to replace both, at the same time since both have the same service lifespan. Aftermarket parts are comparably good compared to OEM parts. Grab our low-price offer for both, and click the link below to order these today. Thats not smart at all, is like asking should i change my oil cooler when i change my oil. If the crank got bad that doesnt mean the cam will, they are not even next to eachother. You change unecessary parts when you open the whole front of the car, half the engine apart and spend one day of work to get in a place you cant reach normaly. Changing sensors because they "may" go bad is a waste of money and time. Your cam sensor may last another 10years..
