Great fit and material. Silicone glue dries very fast and it takes longer then the 10 min drying window to apply it all. My dash was already sticky so I couldn't adjust it easily. I wish I had just dry fit it without the glue and left it, but it still looks 100% better.
I needed to do something for wife's car and didn't want a felt or carpet style cover. this checks all the boxes. (color, fit and price) shipping was fast and well packaged. I would recommend to others

Hi Valerie, I'm pleased to assist you. No. There is no need to take out the windshield. The dash cover should fit snugly over the entire dash. First, clean your existing dash and the underside of your new dash cover. Practice putting it in place with tape. Make sure it rests well around the windshield area. Apply the silicone adhesive provided in your kit to the underside of the dash cover around the edges and vent holes.
