The cover came scratched or not painted in three places. I contacted the manufacturer about just one of the places of issue and they wanted me to pay $30 plus shipping for touch up paint. If I’m paying $300 for a dash cover and there is an issue, I should not be expected to pay for a resolution that is very simple

Hi Valerie, I'm pleased to assist you. No. There is no need to take out the windshield. The dash cover should fit snugly over the entire dash. First, clean your existing dash and the underside of your new dash cover. Practice putting it in place with tape. Make sure it rests well around the windshield area. Apply the silicone adhesive provided in your kit to the underside of the dash cover around the edges and vent holes.
