I prefer to replace with OEM but when I can't, a reman OEM part at a great price and works, is fine with me.

Excellent website with easy access to the right part I needed for my 96 K1500. Shipping was faster than expected and the core return process was easy peasy. Looking for replacement parts for your older vehicle, this is your place!!

Question: Would this cause power steering loss?Kathy D. / May 06, 2022 / 2014 Buick RegalMass Air Flow Sensor, Professional Series
Your car has electric power steering, and there are a variety of problems that could result in a loss of steering assist. However, several years ago, there was a recall #15356 issued by General Motors for a loss of power steering on select models, including the 2012 Malibu. The document suggests that the issue may be caused by a faulty steering column torque sensor or EPS motor/controller. Unfortunately, the recall and special coverage was only good for 10 years or 150,000 miles. So, there's a good chance your car will no longer qualify for special coverage if one of those parts is found to be the problem. But you could call your local Chevy dealer to double-check. Good luck!
