No, there is a little split pin that you can press out to remove the quick disconnect tube to put another one in or a fitting.

Question: I'm having what seems to be a common problem. After getting the part installed. It leaked. My guess is that when I reinserted the short disconnect shaft while it was 35 degrees cold outside. It went in with a lot of resistance causing the o ring to be bent out of shape. Can I get another o ring?  Please tell me how. I've bought 2 units . The same thing happened to both.James G. / Dec 30, 2020 / Chevrolet S10Clutch Slave Cylinder
Hi James, I highly suggest to have a certified mechanic install the part for best results.

Relatively easy. The O-ring does not come with the slave cylinder but with the hydraulic line. They do sell the O-ring for the hydraulic line separately. However, I would check to be certain before going any further.
