Fan was purchased for replacement on 1989 Ford F-150 Lariat. The diameter of the fan assembly was larger than the opening in the housing. Using a small hand rasp, I was able to enlarge the opening to gain clearance.Next the 3 alignment pins on the housing would not allow the support base to mount flush, much less align with screw holes.Removing the alignment pins with a hacksaw blade corrected this.Then I was able to get 2 of the 4 screw holes to align with the base in proper position to allow connection of a rubber hose connecting the fan housing to the base. The remaining 2 holes I was able to drill and finish installation.The above issues were a setback but you are working with soft plastic and for my model I had sufficient working room. Considering the age of my truck I was overall happy with the results.

Excellent part perfect fit. Local part stores only sell motor and wheel seperate also motor is a multi-fit, but this one comes complete so no chance of breaking motor trying to put wheel on. I would definely buy this product and others from this seller again.
