I was impressed with the quality i expected a cheaper gauge metal from a aftermarket part. Everything lined up as far as fuel pump and straps. The customer service was good except the wait time.

We do have the direct-fit fuel tanks for the 1998 Ford F-250 8 Cyl 5.4L. But, there are fit notes to be considered as the length of the wheelbase, RWD or 4WD, gallon capacity, and others. Question: 2002 Ford E150 -
6 Cyl 4.2L.Base model. The Question is that I can not tell if my truck has the fuel pump in the middle ? or near the rear axle ? There was a change over during 2002 and it’s not date coded like they do today “ . I believe it’s the mid tank fuel pump and gas tank ?? I can’t see anything by rear axle of the tank. Gas Tank is rectangular in the rear and flush with body framing..the different is either .. 2 hose gas line pump or 3” ..? Whos the pro with the answer before I drop the tank .. lol 😝 ???? Hi Vincent, I'm glad to assist you. It is a side tank (35-gallon capacity), not the one on the rear (after the rear axle). The fuel pump is positioned in the middle portion of the fuel tank (shown with a round hole in the fuel tank). To be accurate, are you looking for a fuel tank to match your truck or a fuel pump assembly?

Hello! You could use a fuel-safe bulkhead fitting with a submersible fuel line run to the bottom of the tank.
