Answered by Jeonino E. / Fri, Feb 03No it will not. The 78 and 79 trucks have a wider frame in the rear. The tank won't fit between the frame rails on the earlier 4x4 3/4 ton trucks. Hope this helps.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Mon, Oct 18It’s just the tank. If you want a new fuel sender you’ll have to order that separately. I tried to modify mine for the additional length but it didn’t work afterwards. I ordered one the appropriate length and it works great.
