This fuel tank(16 gallons / 61 liters) is a guaranteed and direct fit part specifically designed only for the selected vehicle application covering from 1965 to 1968 Ford Mustang With Drain Plug U/K Hardtop Convertible Fastback 6Cyl 8Cyl 2.8L 3.3L 4.7L 6.4L 5.0L 7.0L, engine fitment. If you have the matching vehicle, this will fit and will be compatible. The dimensions of the part is not noted anymore since you have to accurately select your vehicle application(year, make model, submodel and engine size) and the resulting search would show the exact parts designed for that specific vehicle application only.

The outside dimensions, including the mounting lip are 32-5/8"W x 24 1/2"L x 7"D. The tank should fit any 1964 1/2 thru 1968 Mustang Coup.
