My fuel tank arrived on time, the locking ring and gasket were the right ones for the tank sending unit. It would be nice to have the frame cushions (used to prevent chafing on the frame) glued to it as they were on the original. I was able to transfer them from the old one to the new one after cleaning all the rust from them.

Question: Does this tank have baffels? having issues with my oem tank not reading fuel levels correctly. Hi William, I'm pleased to assist you. No. This fuel tank does not have a baffled sump. This has the same features as the original part that it replaces. You are correct, for earlier model vehicles, the fuel tanks did not come with a baffled sump yet. If you want to have one, you will have to have the tank fabricated or customized.
