I used this tank to relocate the gas tank in a 58 jeep. I don't know if this will work for you but I picked up a flexible filler neck from Oreilys and it worked perfectly.

Hi Scott, I'm glad to assist you. A A three-coat epoxy system meeting MIL-P-24441 is satisfactory to be used to paint the fuel tank. Unfortunately, we do not have a fuel tank head shield available or skid plate. Still, please consult your trusted local auto body repair paint shop for the type of paint coating needed or appropriate for your fuel tank. Please click the link below to order the part today.
