The part is perfect but we had a shipping issue. After contacting customer service it got taken care of but not quick enough and we didn't get any of our shipping fee back, which I feel like we should have. If we wouldn't have called in we wouldn't have ever gotten our part.

Hi Grace,
The fan clutch is actuated by the thermostat once temperature from the engine rises, the clutch engages so that the fan is driven by engine power and moves air to cool the engine.The thermostat regulates the flow of coolant/water via the water pump. The water pump sucks the coolant from the engine and pump it to the radiator for cooling.
