The seal appears to be holding the oil in as advertised. Took 15 minutes to remove the fan and shroud that was in the way. Removal of the 15/16 bolt that held the balancer on took about 2 hours. Final success was using my "Angry plyers" (See Rainman Rays vids on youtube) to prevent the balancer from moving and a cheater pipe to loosen the bolt. Pulling the balancer off required the special low profile puller normally used for Chrys style vehicles. Regular GM style wouldn't touch it. Installing took light taps with a linear impact device until I could thread the main bolt in. Torque was attained by again holding the balancer with the plyers until tight.
