Hi Frank, I'm glad to assist you. No, it holds the front engine securely to the chassis (front engine mount). You might be referring to the transmission mount which is located in the center and rear location. We both carry the two transmission mounts. Please check with your mechanic what is the exact one you need. For us to check carefully, please provide the complete details of your vehicle (year, make, model, submodel, 2WD/4WD, and engine size).
