The seat control was great and easy to install. I also bought a bumper which was good as well. I now have an order for a drivers inside door handle. I haven't received it yet but the description for divers side looks like a passenger side on the checkout. I went ahead on the order but am worried about what I may receive. I am thinking that the picture of the drivers side shows upside down making it look like the passenger side. We will see "what's up" when it gets here. Also I put both in my basket and didn't proceed as it didn't look right. I then got several notices to proceed withthe order which I resisted not thinking that it was right.

The switch to slide the seat forward and back was backward. Push it forward and the seat goes backward

Hi Chloe, I'm glad to assist you. No, this is a seat switch. What you need is a seat motor. We do not carry a seat motor for the front driver side, unfortunately. If your mechanic has checked the seat already, the seat motor is what he found to be defective, not the seat switch. But, there is a possibility it could be a seat switch also instead of a motor. Mike Fischer here. My 2005 escalade drivers seat was not working either. I wiggled some wires under the seat, and now the seat works! Go figure. What is weird is that now the switch moves the seat backward in the forward position and backward in the forward position. I have not replaced the switch yet because I'm cheep and can live with it like it is.
Please let me know how the process go's if you decide to replace the switch.
