Coolant Temperature Sensor Gm Original Equipment Series
5.0/5
This part worked great soon as I plugged it in. I did have other issues with the car. It's a 1994 Cadillac limousine with LT1 350. But got them straightened out now. My water pump also was going bad. Its a good quality part.

Question: Will this fit in the head for temp gauge? 5.7l tbi 95'A Shopper / Mar 11, 2021
Hi,
You missed mentioning the make and model of the vehicle for me to check. TBI is an engine design and 5.7 is the liter. You can do a manual check for the fitment - On the Homepage, please enter (complete) your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine size. Type the part's name in the search box. Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

Question: I have a 1988 GTA with a 5.7. is this the sensor that screws into the front of the intake manifold and activates the fans? This motor has a two fan system, the secondary was intended for the air conditioning. Please advise if this is the correct part. Thank youJimmy / Jun 15, 2020
Hello!
I believe this is the correct part for your Trans Am:
https://www.carparts.com/details/Pontiac/Firebird/AC_Delco/Coolant_Temperature_Sensor/1988/Trans_Am/8_Cyl_5-dot-7L/AC2134396.html
This is the part that comes up when I search for a coolant temp sensor for an '88 Trans Am with a 5.7L. And according to the information I have, the sensor that's an input to the ECM for fan control looks similar to the sensor in the link above.
But you might want to take a peek at your sensor before ordering to ensure it looks the same.
