Hi Dave, I'm glad to assist you. This doesn't happen in a lot of cars. It only happens when the high and low use the same bulb. And it's because the different settings are switching the power to a different filament in the bulb. The low beam stay lit when you use the high beams for signaling an incoming vehicle. You can refer to your vehicle's repair manual or owner's manual for any specific info about this.
