This headlight was a vast improvement on the old one. I liked that this kit of the headlights and foglights were on sale. They are very clear and look to be in mint condition. The old one like the old one on the other side was also broken but was holding on by two screws unlike the other side. They slid in great once the old ones were removed. The grandson had no problems installing them.

So I got these to replace the original headlights on the SUV that were cloudy at best. They fit easily and were easy to put in per my grandson. They make the Vue look brand new even though she will be 18 in August. They sure are a lot brighter that what was on my Vue. The other problem that I had with the old one was that most of the plastic holding the headlight in place was broken and it was only holding on by one screw. I have not had the opportunity to drive her with the headlights on. No where to go and too hot to go outside.

These are really beautiful replacement headlights and work excellent, not to mention the price was very good. The vertical adjustment plastic gear did not work due to what appears to be a poor design. I was able to adjust the headlights from the rear of the assembly without the plastic right angle drive gear. The drawback to that was I had to pull the headlight assembly out to adjust it and then stick it back in to see if it looked right, and repeat. Got them adjusted but it was just a little more trouble. It was still worth it, but the adjustment mechanism design should be changed, in my opinion.
