Question: What is the difference between fluted reflector vs smooth reflector?Clyde H. / Dec 24, 2020
Hi Clyde, The fluted (ribbed) lenses actually produce a wide, dispersed beam and should light up the sides of the road better. Clear (smooth) lenses are usually for long, range driving lights where you want a lot of light way out in front straight of you.

As far as I can tell, they are different only for cosmetic purposes. I can't tell that one works better than the other. Hope this helps.

Pickup has a screw to adjust headlights but after installing the new headlights they were fine without having to adjust them.

The bulbs are standard (OEM) but the new clear bezel and the reflective areas around the bulbs do provide for better brightness and they look great.

I put these lights in my 2006 Silverado. My truck has 150,000 plus miles. They are plenty bright. No issues at all.

I would say the same as original. Easily installed and makes a huge difference. Just remember, safety is paramount.
