Assembly is a complete, unit ready to plug in; comes with everything, including bulbs. The only difficulty I had installing this unit was getting the assembly seated completely back in the housing, so that the slide would go in all the way. You-tube has really helpful videos about this.

Hi Darryl, Your standard headlight bulb for the halogen type is H11 type. You just have to look up or find an H11 LED low beam bulb replacement.
