1991 Chevy Cavalier RS Heater CoreHeater Core

Replacing the Heater Core in a 1991 Chevy Cavalier RS is NO small project. YouTube videos have shown it taking DAYS to take the dashboard apart, frustrating their owners to no end. The RS (Convertible) model is different, seeing the Firewall is reinforced, access to the Heater Core is MUCH easier than other models. Instead of 24-30 hours of labor (as per ASA-Certified) Repair Manuals, the project was completed in 8 hours. It’s A LOT of labor for an inexpensive, hard to reach - but ESSENTIAL part. Most YouTube videos and local mechanics suggest just trashing the vehicle.
