It is a key fob that is not programmed. Had to spend $75 to get it programmed. No issues with the product. Didn't check but, might be cheaper to get one from the locksmith.

Hi Donna, I am pleased to assist you. This key fob is typically a complete key fob assembly, including the internal electronics (circuit board and battery), the outer shell, and the internal electronics (transmitter). It is not just a replacement shell. This key fob will not come pre-programmed for your vehicle. It must be programmed to your 2007 Buick Lucerne CXL for it to work. GM vehicles from that era allow owners to program new key fobs themselves, but the 2007 Buick Lucerne requires dealership or locksmith assistance because the programming process involves specialized tools.
