it works. the foam in between is just thin phone, nothing like the thick, wind/air proof coated padding the original had. i thought i smelt car exhaust on the freeway after installing, but don't anymore. in hindsight, it's prob best to remove the foam that comes with it and use the original. also the view is kind of strange. i don't know if that's from the "objects are closer (or further) than they appear" effect. or it's just low quality. but i say it was a quick fix and it fits right, and bolts on. the lower fit to car side is ok/good except all the way to left there is some play where you can push it in a 1/16 or 1/8" and it will spring back out. however that's probably ok. not an issue.

the mirror was perfect took my mechanic at work 5 minutes to change it out for me, car is black so I did not have to paint it or anything exactly same as one on passenger side
