Hi Lee, I am pleased to assist you. There are several articles and videos online with step-by-step instructions. Just type "How to replace PCV valve 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500" in the search field. However, this is unsuitable for the 5.3L. It is for a 6 Cyl 4.3L.
