Taillight was easily installed in 2012 Honda Civic. Mounting supports fit precisely and there was no issue securing it in place. The electrical connections from the loom fit exactly as well. When done, we tested the blinker, taillight, brake light, and reverse light and all worked as designed. Very pleased with light assembly. We did purchase some trunk cover clips from a local auto parts store, but no issues.

I accidentally backed into a tree and busted a small part of my taillight. This car part arrived quickly. After a quick youtube video how-to, it was able to be installed in less than 10 minutes. Couldn’t recommend more!

Question: I have a 2012 Honda Civic; it's a sedan. The tail light on the driver's side is damaged. The light bulbs on my current tail light still work. It's only the plastic on the tail light that is damaged. Will this still work as a replacement?Theresa S. / Jun 11, 2020
I used this to replace my damaged plastic and it worked great. This one comes with bulbs, too, so you can keep your old ones and use them should these ever go out.

Yes. The new replacement will come with lights. So just take the old lights out the broken tail light, keep em. And you’re set.
