Did not work properly on my truck. The sensor has no ability to adjust its installation so that the return signal voltage can be set to factory spec.

Per checking, the part should fit your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Base 6 Cyl 5.9L. However, I noticed, it is specific to Diesel engines and automatic transmission. Can you confirm, if your vehicle is the diesel with automatic transmission. Nonetheless, I have sent an email related to this concern with a resolution.
