Good replacementThrottle Position Sensor
5.0/5
Is a direct fit, and is identical to the original removed, from what I can tell. I'm not sure if it was even needed for my car, but I got it anyway but afterwards, my car did the same thing it did before replaced. So for course, I don't think it was a sensor issue. Yay, now I have a new sensor in there anyway.

Question: 99 explorer ford xlt sohc v6. i placed this on my car and i have to hold the gas pedal down to the floor for it to start until it clears out and revs high then dies. Ive replaced throttle position sensor but before this i replaced oxygen airflow sensor and mass air flow sensor so there is nothing else to change unless this part is wrong or bad. Please someone help?Paul C. / Mar 08, 2022
Hello! I would recommend scanning your vehicle for faults so we have a better idea of how to help. I suspect that you have a bad vacuum leak somewhere, not allowing your vehicle to idle.
