Question: After installing TPS on 2010 Lincoln MKZ. Will not start. Turns over and then dies. Disconnected battery for more than 10 mins. Is there a specific relearning, or programming procedure?Rusty / Mar 25, 2023
Hi Ryan, I'm glad to assist you. The throttle position sensor is a plug-and-play part and does not need any programming. It is possible that the part is defective and causing a short on your vehicle's circuitry. It is best to have your car diagnosed by a certified technician for an extensive troubleshooting procedure.
