Jeep Flashing "P" won't turn off after driving.Direct Fit Transfer Case Range Sensor, Sold Individually

2017 jeep grand cherokee presenting with both P0850 and P1B3-00 and flashing P on the gear selector. Ran these symptoms through GROK AI , and it pointed to this sensor Transfer case range selector.
Do not rotate white tab or you'll have more problems.
Installed, reset the computer by disconnecting batteries. Drove it to and from work all codes disappeared. Running and driving like new.
