Hi Raymond, I am pleased to assist you. Over time, the lock mechanism can wear down, especially if the car is older or exposed to harsh conditions. Try spraying a little graphite-based lubricant or lock-specific lubricant into the keyhole to get the key out. If you're unable to remove the key or open the trunk, it may be best to consult a locksmith or mechanic. They can safely remove the key and inspect the lock mechanism for damage or wear. Eventually, you'll need to replace the trunk lock and key.
