One of the parts sent worked no issues, the other part sent had cheap, malfunctioning plastic parts that did not hold one of the cables properly. I ended up having to superglue the cable into the fitting in order to complete the repair.

Frank, I used this to replace the actuator on my 2013 camry with the smart keyless entry. It wasn't unlocking the doors before but would make the beeping sounds when I would put my hand on the handle. Replacing this fixed the issue. Keep in mind that your door shutting feel will be a bit since it's not oem.

Question: How do I know if this is what is wrong?  When I press rear door opener button on front panel it beeps but does nothing.Juliette S. / Apr 07, 2020
Hi – I’m going to assume that all of your power door locks work except for the left front. Also, I’m going to assume the left front door lock works manually. If that’s the case, the issue COULD be a bad actuator. But the problem could also be somewhere in the actuator’s control circuit. You’ll need to do some diagnostic work to know for sure. And if you don’t feel up to the task, you can always take your car to a professional repair facility. Good luck!

For me, it was our two front doors. Keyless entry and panel buttons would not work and we had to manually unlock both doors every time. Install was not too bad after watching YouTube video. So glad I did it.

Question: It’s a 2012 Toyota camryI have a key entry one driver side right now, I want to switch a non key system will this do what I am looking for?Shelby / Dec 16, 2024
Hi Shelby, thank you for reaching out. We are unable to answer your question accurately since we don't do retrofitting and conversion. I would recommend reaching out to your local dealership for a list of parts needed for such a retrofit. Hopefully, another customer who has done the conversion will chime in. Have a nice day.
