Hi Michael,
The part came with a plastic piece over that speaker area an it would affect sound. So I cut it out and glued the old speaker screen in the hole I cut out. It also matches the other door since I did not replace both panels. The speaker screen is metal and has a lip that makes it easy to glue onto the back so the panel is firm after glue dries. I just used a clear silicone glue and it works and looks great. Also the blue I ordered was a perfect color match and fit perfectly. Good luck. Craig
