Good product, but not steel.Front Engine Splash Shield, Steel, Vacuum Form
4.0/5
Same quality and fitment as the OEM splash shield. The only issue is in the description. This is not a steel part, it is vacuum formed fibrous paper board, just like the OEM. Still a good price to replace the old one with. Just make sure to swap all the plastic washers from the original to the new part.

You need to order push rivet fasteners to attach it. If you have any of the existing ones, you can visit an auto parts store to purchase new ones. You should be able to order them from Amazon for around $10

Splash shield does help protect some engine components from possible damage by things such as rocks, ice or water. If original is no longer in place it is a good idea to replace.

It does fit under the engine to protect it. It does NOT reach from front fender to back fender, covering only the area occupied by the engine.
