Part arrived timely & was correct. However it was open & I had to call & be sure nothing was missing as there were no screws to attach it. Carparts informed that the screws are not included, and half of them (5 of 10), had to be special ordered by the shop that put it on - with shipping costing another $35.00. The screws should be included or the customer should be told that they are not when ordering the part.

Hi Dan, I'm glad to help you out. This is an important part of your vehicle, not just for its maintenance. This protects the engine compartment from water and dirt. To a small degree, it reduces the aerodynamic drag, and as a result, improves highway fuel economy. In some cars, the engine splash shield redirects the airflow over the components that need to be cooled down, such as an oil pan or alternator.
