Ronald, The battery IS on the Left or Driver's side but neither of these two parts covers the battery. The specific part that must be removed to access the battery is REPD222124 : Mopar 5008915AG : Front Driver L Fender Liner. The parts shown with this question (REPC310103 : Mopar 5116037AB : Driver L Splash Shield) fit with the Fender Liners but are mounted 90 degrees to the section of the Fender Liner which covers the battery. These are behind the strut, parallel to the front wheel and serve to protect the engine from water and mud. I recently purchased and installed a full set of both Fender Liners and Engine Splash Shields here. They are good quality, fit well and seem more durable than the originals. To fully replace the liners you should order: 1. SET-REPD222123 (Set of L & R Fender Liners) and 2. SET-REPC310103 (Set of L & R Engine Splash Shields)

Yes it does help cover the battery on the drivers side. The left front fender well is were the battery is. There is more than one cover involved with covering the battery. These covers listed here are splash guards.
