Thinner but stronger than oem i believe because it is rubbery as opposed to fibrous. Should last a long time and be less prone to tearing when removing carelessly i.e. brute force. Fitment is nearly perfect in terms of hole alignment. Plastic button clips not supplied but I knew that going in. Also got it on sale for <$25 for both so that makes it all the more satisfying.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Mon, Apr 19No it does not, I reused the old ones that were there but if you want new ones they sell them at Lowe’s in the hardware section they have an automotive parts such as clips and they are cheap there if you want new ones

Answered by Aldrin P. / Sun, Sep 12Kenneth, These splash shields are located in the front wheel well on each side. They are easy to install you will need some automotive push-in retainers for the instillation, the holes fro the retainers are pre-existing from the factory. They come fitted for the right and left side, confirm the fit to the correct side before attaching. They fix easily around the brake lines and it is much easier to install the shield by removing the wheel and tire before installation.
