Works, but your going to work at getting it on.Exhaust Manifold, 6 Cyl., 4.0L Engine, Stainless Steel, Tubular Design
2.0/5
After receiving this manifold, I went to work replacing my old one that turned out to be warped along the block. After preparing everything, I went to work putting the new manifold on. First thing I found was two of the bolts on the bottom side are inaccessible with a ratchet and socket, therefore cannot be torqued. You have to use a wrench to tighten them down. The two bolts provided to mate your down pipe to the manifold are too short. You will need bolts at least a quarter to a half inch longer. The bottom of the manifold pipe is also too close to the block. I am no new comer to working on vehicles. 40 years as a professional collision tech and line tech. This took me about two hours to install. I will have to recheck the bolts for staying tight every now and then since some of the bolts are blocked from being torqued. Spend the extra money and get a good well made part. This one works, but your going to have to live with a part that isn't a factory fit.

Warning! Gonna need a GrinderExhaust Manifold, 6 Cyl., 4.0L Engine, Stainless Steel, Tubular Design

Warning! Does not just bolt up. Had to grind down Intake Manifold for front tube, and cut off a fin thing on the back for the last tube. New Bolts for down pipe to short, and the Gasket is Garbage.

Best Exhaust Manifold for Your moneyExhaust Manifold, 6 Cyl., 4.0L Engine, Stainless Steel, Tubular Design
5.0/5
This is a very nice Manifold for the money, sturdy and good quality steel. The only thing that I would change is the design of the first exhaust tube. It should go straiight down about an inch before it makes the bend towards the rear of engine due to Intake Manifold fit. I had to modify the Intake and grind down an ear on the underside where the p/s pump support is to make everything fit well.--SEE PICTURE

Problem with product orderedExhaust Manifold, 6 Cyl., 4.0L Engine, Stainless Steel, Tubular Design
1.0/5
The product you shipped me was not made for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport with a 4.0 liter engine. It fit on the engine block, but was not made for my engine because the headers were angled wrong for my engine. The only conclusion I can come to is that it was made for another size engine, maybe a 3.7 L or 2.5 L engine. So, either Dorman sent APW the wrong exhaust manifold or APW provided me with the wrong parts to choose from when I put in my specifications on my Jeep. Consequently, I had to modify my intake manifold to make it fit so I could bolt everything else back on the engine.
