Hi Shawn, These door handles are made of heavy-duty plastic. In order to save weight, reduce cost, and improve safety, car door handles are usually made of plastics such as PBT, fiber-reinforced PA, or ABS.

The bucket or backing is made of tough plastic but the handle is metal.

No you just remove the clip holding your lock tumbler in the old handle and put the same lock in the new handle then you just use the same key you had for the old handle

It does not come with the lock cylinder, it is just the handle. You would have to transfer your old lock cylinder or get a new one.

No you use your locks. You will have to remove them from the old handle and install them in new handle.
