I purchased this unit for a 2001 Ford Ranger 3.0 Extended Cap 4door 4wd Flareside. The only concern I experience was the fuel filter in the bottom of the unit was facing the opposite way. The unit was not going down into the gas tank because fuel filter was placed wrong during the initial rebuilt. I had to remove and turn filter towards the rear so the unit can fit down into the gas tank. But other than that I’m still satisfy with the price and the unit. Hopefully it gives me many years of service.

I was initially intimated when I found out I had to remove the bed to install a new pump, but it was pretty easy. You need an assistant to life the bed and it helps if you have saw horses to rest it on. The part looked EACTLY like the one Ford installed 15 years ago so I am confident this pump will last the lis=fe of the truck
