Question: Will this fit my 1984 Chevy k30 long bed? Baffles built in also?michael C. / Apr 06, 2022
Hi Michael, I'm pleased to assist you. No. This part does not fit the 1984 Chevrolet K30. We do have the direct-fit fuel tank for the vehicle. But, there are 16 and 20-gallon tanks. The fuel tank will have the same specifications as the original part that it replaces (if with baffles). Let me provide you with the link below to choose among the options we have available and order at discounted prices while supplies last. I hope this helps. This tank is for the 1987-1991 R-V series trucks that came with fuel injection. It does have baffles as these are in tank pumps. If you are converting to FI this is the way to go.

Yes. It fit my 1987 v20 with 20 gallon tanks which is essentially the same. Baffles are metal instead of plastic but it is there. More of a sump design.

Question: Does this fit my short bed 87 chevy?Enrique R. / Oct 16, 2020
Hi Enrique, Yes, this fuel tank is compatible with 1987 Chevrolet, however, you have to check the Submodel and the engine size of the vehicle. To check the fitment please use our Vehicle Selector — which can be found towards the top of the homepage as well as all categories, search results, and product pages — can help verify if a part will fit your specific application. To enter your application, simply select your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type and click “Go.” Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

The dual 20 gallon tanks will not fit a short bed swb pickup the tanks come too far past the rear of cab tanks will be in the way of spring hangers and really close to rear tires. Best to stick with the 16 gallon tanks and retrofit a blazer or suburban tank between rails where spare tire lives

You don't need both, right away , Tanks work great I only installed passenger side 16 gallons, it's fine. Don't forget replacement straps and fuel unit and lines. Its best to change Tham all at once if possible
