Based on our record the part is a match for a 1979 Cadillac DeVille, however, it will fit depending on the engine type and size. Hi Ryan, I'm glad to help you out. Unfortunately, the shape and the size of this tank will not be compatible and cannot be modified to fit. We currently don't carry direct-fit fuel tanks to fit the 76' Eldorado. We suggest maybe checking local parts stores that specialize in the year and model of the vehicle. I hope this helps.
