Upon checking, the lock ring is not included and will have to be purchased separately.

Answered by Grace G. / Fri, Sep 18A lock ring was not needed with this as the fuel pump hanger has the ring built in to it . I did need to grind off the heads of 2 of the retaining bolts as they striped, but tank came with new bolts. Tip, remove the fuel pump assembly first and reach through that hole to help remove the check valve located in the small hole. Good luck. P.S. I also ordered new tank straps when I ordered the tank

Answered by John Z. / Fri, Sep 18My tank unfortunately did not come with the ring which forced me to return the whole tank. The tank was the right one though. Just make sure you call to confirm the tank comes with the ring.
