This headlight assembly is not the adaptive type. As of our product notes-Not for Models with Xenon and Adaptive Headlights.

Answered by Dorothy G. / Fri, Mar 18Yes, fits 2008 5 series pretty well. Took a bit of fitting to get the seals properly set. However, does not have adaptive function so a dash warning light may be constantly on.
