Headlight condensation can be a normal condition with vehicle headlights. Condensation in the headlight most often occurs with rapid temperature change, high humidity, or long periods of non use of the headlight, but should clear up with use and when temperatures stabilize. Headlights are vented with either a hose or a opening covered by a fine mesh, allowing for the headlight to perform in a variety of conditions without permanently fogging up. However, if condensation is to the point where it is collecting as liquid at the bottom of the headlight and the vent is damaged or blocked, then the headlight may need to be replaced.
