The yellow factor is just bug acid that can build up over time and lack of removal. You respect your headlights and they’ll last a very long time.

Hi, Yes. Park your vehicle 25 feet from a wall, and place a piece of tape horizontally 4 feet high across the wall in front of your vehicle. Turn the top adjustment screw on the headlights clockwise to raise the beam and counterclockwise to lower the beam. Adjust the headlights so the beam height is two to four inches below the horizontal cross of masking tape. Turn the side adjustment screw to adjust the center of each headlight from side to side.

I had my light installed by a friend on the driver's side, I am not sure about the adjustments but I have lights working and I am happy about that.
