Fits well. Adjustment rod for left/right was not installed properly with the tension clip. Spent about half an hour fumbling with the tension clip to get it seated properly so that the adjustment rod would not slip.

Fits as described. Adjustment screws were loose. Packaging was well done to protect from shipping handlers. The bulb housing causes the light to shake on all roads with imperfections.

My experience with ordering a new headlight was very good overall, as a result of this company's excellent customer service. My part arrived quickly, but damaged, as was immediately evident by the perforated box. I quickly submitted a replacement request with the needed photos, and 3 days later received a second headlight, via a different delivery company (not USPS) and from a different supplier (Depot). The higher quality of the box itself and internal packing material were far superior to the first shipment, and my headlight was in perfect condition. The first delivery box was thinner material, and the headlight was wrapped in paper. It was clear that this company wanted to make sure I received an undamaged order, by the upgraded supplier (and carrier). This is how customer service works at its best.

Upon checking, This set of headlights does not fit the 2008 Volkswagen R32 Base 6 Cyl 3.2L. Unfortunately, we currently do not have in s stock the HID headlights for the vehicle.

This is only the headlight housing. The bulbs and ballasts are sold separately.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Tue, Oct 13All wiring is included so youll need the ballasts, bulbs and bulb holders/ignitors. Everything i needed came from a local salvage yard that had a couple GTIs with the headlamps still on the cars. Look around, make sure everything you need is still there and appears intact before you start pulling. If any of those tabs are broke, snap a pic and show the salesperson, telling them you just want the headlights for the spare bulbs. Dont mention ignitors or ballasts. Maybe you'll get lucky like i did and get everything free.

This part fits from 2006-2009 Volkswagen GTI with HID type headlight. HID bulb and ballast not included.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Tue, Sep 08If you 2009 is considered a mark 5 going then yes. I bought this and have hid from factory. You just have to remove the ballast and igniter from your old one and install on new.

2009 to my understanding was when the Volkswagen GTI went from the MK5 to the Mk6 body style.

Hi,
When you mentioned motor, do you mean the ballast? The internal wirings are included but this set is dos not include the ballast and the HID bulbs. You can transfer or swap the ballast and bulbs from the old headlights to these new ones.

Answered by Grace G. / Wed, Mar 03Not sure what you mean by motors. When I bought these lights they had all of the bulbs and wiring. They did not have the igniter or ballast for hid. You either have to have that like I did or buy separately

Answered by James L. / Wed, Mar 03Internal wiring, yes. Motors for the high beam flap, yes. These are not adaptive cornering lamps, however.
You will need to swap over your ballast from the old fixture. It is not super intuitive.
