Question: The description states halogen only, can't I just switch the halogen bulb for an LED?Highrisk28 / Apr 06, 2025
Hi Ivan, thank you for reaching out. The answer varies depending on the factory headlights of your 2018-2021 Toyota Tundra. This product is incompatible with the 2018-2021 Toyota Tundra with factory LED headlights. This headlight set has different wiring compared to the factory LED headlight set. If your 2018-2021 Toyota Tundra has factory halogen headlights and you want to change the halogen bulbs to LED, you may do so, provided the LED bulb type is the same as the halogen bulbs. You may also need an LED CAN bus (Controller Area Network) decoder or load resistor to prevent the LED bulbs from flickering. Should you need LED headlights for the 2018-2021 Toyota Tundra, you can use this link to order the suggested headlight set at a low price while supplies last: https://www.carparts.com/details/Toyota/Tundra/Replacement/Headlight/2019/SET-RT10010059.html?can=CPAP3648_CSQA_20250406 If your original headlights are halogen, you can use this link to order this part at a low price today while supplies last: https://www.carparts.com/headlight/replacement/set-rt10010029q-2?can=CPAP3648_CSQA_20250406 I hope this helps.
