This hitch has the option of installing so the receiver is below the plastic fender trim or you can install so the receiver comes below the license plate. I did have to modify the position of the license plate as it covered the top portion of the hole.
This is the EASIEST hitch install I have ever done! It honestly took less than 30 min and required just 3 sockets and my plastic cutter for the bumper. I was able to keep the tow hooks which is a huge bonus for the winch.
