This worked great and was easy to install. The power coupling (for the heated mirror) was slightly different than on my 2015 Grand Caravan, but it plugged in okay and works great. I took a rag and pushed on the center of the mirror to install (as seen on a YouTube video.

Right side mirror (glass) got shattered badly but no damage to its housing. New mirror came securely packaged and was an easy pop-in application once defrost wires were reconnected. Very pleased with purchase and quick delivery.

Hi Holly, I'm glad to assist you. No, it does not. This mirror glass has a defogger/heating function only. The one with blind-spot detection is part number DG143CL-S (a whole mirror assembly). I do not believe the mirror detects an obstacle in the blind spot, but if the vehicle is equipped with blind spot sensors the mirror will respond with a yellow caution triangle in the upper left corner .It works fine on my 2015 Town & Country Van
