Totally fine product for the price. Fits 2007 Dodge Dakota as advertised and simply clips in (assuming the mount inside hasn’t been compromised). Great for getting one thing off your list quickly and without spending too much. Great for older and workhorse type vehicles where you may care a bit less about how high end or factory something may look, more about function.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Mon, Feb 27The backing plate came attached to the mirror. They come that way. No backing plate by itself. I looked all over for one. I thought this was the best deal. It worked great, though. I needed that backing plate, so it wasn't so bad.

Hi Austin. Yes, this is an OE Replacement for a 2005 Dodge Dakota. To install it, you need to put a silicone adhesive on the back of the glass and put it into the mirror housing.
